Accused Florida murderer arrested in Hazleton
HAZLETON, Luzerne County – A man accused of shooting and killing another man in central Florida was arrested in this city Friday morning.
The U.S. Marshals Service said Juan Luis Henriquez-Caraballo, 45, of Kissimmee, Florida, was arrested around 7am Friday in the 400 block of West Diamond Avenue.
Members of the Marshals Service Middle District of Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force and Hazleton City Police Department arrested the man without incident.
Henriquez-Caraballo is accused of shooting and killing a man in Kissimmee in March and fleeing the state.
“The U.S. Marshals Service recognizes the importance of cooperation between federal, state, and local police agencies — especially when searching for dangerous fugitives,” Acting U.S. Marshal William Pugh said. “It is my sincere hope that this arrest brings some sense of relief to the community.”
