Ashland woman cited for rooftop tirade

ASHLAND – A 39-year-old woman from this borough is facing disorderly conduct charges after a tirade on the roof of a Centre Street building in October.

Troopers released information on the incident Monday, saying they were called to 221 West Centre Street around 3:00am on Oct. 30 for a woman on a roof.

They arrived to find that 39-year-old Victoria Jago, of Ashland, had climbed atop the roof of 221, and refused to climb down. Instead, she shouted profanities at those who requested she come down.

State Police along with Ashland Fire and EMS responded, and the Washington Fire Co. used their ladder truck to get her down.

Jago was taken into custody at the scene and released for medical treatment.

She will be cited for disorderly conduct, troopers said.
