PAFCO volunteers continue tradition placing flags at Heights cemeteries

SHENANDOAH HEIGHTS – Volunteers from Shenandoah’s Polish American Fire Company continued their tradition, making sure Shenandoah area veterans’ grave sites are adorned with American flags in time for Memorial Day.

Volunteers were placing flags at grave sites in the New St. Casimir’s Cemetery in Shenandoah Heights Wednesday afternoon.

The fire company has helped with the effort for the past few years, helping the A.P. Damato Post with the project.
