PSP: Mt. Carmel, Pottsville young adults violated stay-at-home order to attend party

SHAMOKIN DAM, Snyder County – Three young adults, from Mount Carmel, Pottsville, and Wilkes-Barre, are facing charges for violating the COVID-19 Stay at Home Order, according to state troopers.

State Police at Selinsgrove were called to the Econo Lodge in Shamokin Dam for a reported disturbance around 2:30am Sunday.

There, troopers found the three, who had all come to attend a party in Snyder County.

Jasmine Latshaw, 18, of Mount Carmel, and Bianca McCabe, 19, of Pottsville were cited for underage consumption and violating the stay at home order, while a third, Namir Murphy McRae, 21, of Wilkes-Barre, was cited for violating the stay at home order.

Assisting state police at the scene were officers from Selinsgrove borough.
