Two borough establishments cited for liquor law violations
SHENANDOAH – A pair of establishments were cited for liquor law violations, the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement announced this month.
West Street Pub, West and Poplar Streets, was cited on March 13 for an incident on January 18 when troopers allege they sold alcohol between 2am and 7am, a violation of liquor code.
La Casita De Familia, unit block of East Centre, was cited the same day, accused of selling malt or brewed beverages without a license on March 29, May 10, June 23, July 20 and 27, and August 31, 2019.
The charges will be brought before an Administrative Law Judge, who can impose penalties between $50 and $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses.
