Helping Harvest to host Celebration of Community and Hope

BARNESVILLE – A Celebration of Community and Hope is scheduled later this month to raise money for folks experiencing food insecurity.

Helping Harvest Food Bank is hosting the third annual event at Mountain Valley Golf Course on Thursday, April 30 from 5pm to 7pm.

The event will raise funds for Helping Harvest in support of its mission to feed neighbors experiencing hunger in Schuylkill & Berks counties.

Sponsors include AdviseMint Financial, Mountain Valley Golf Course, Mrs. T’s Pierogies, AmeriHealth Caritas and over 20 additional area business sponsors.

Speakers will include Jay Worrall, President, Helping Harvest; Jeanne Boyer Porter, Chair, Helping Harvest Board of Directors; Jeannette Triano Sinn, Executive Director, Servants to All; and Reverend Craig Zimmerman, Saint Paul’s UCC in Ringtown, who will provide the invocation.

Helping Harvest, the leading provider of food to families in Schuylkill County, has provided services to the county for four decades.
