SV moves to virtual asynchronous for Wednesday

SHENANDOAH – The ongoing water issues in the Shenandoah area and surrounding valley prompted the Shenandoah Valley School District to move to a virtual asynchronous day Wednesday.

The district dismissed early Tuesday “in an abundance of caution” as most of, if not all, of the former Municipal Authority of the Borough of Shenandoah system lost water.

Numerous other businesses closed Tuesday, including M&T Bank, Kowalonek’s, and Villa Day Care Center.
