Quick-thinking saves truck shop in Delano, FD says

DELANO – Firefighters handled a truck fire in Delano Township and they say quick-thinking saved a building.
Flames broke out at Act Truck and Trailer on Hazle Street in the village of Delano just before 9am Tuesday, according to Ryan Township Fire.
A truck caught fire inside the shop and firefighters credited workers’ quick-thinking with saving the structure. Workers attached a chain to the rig and pulled it away from the building.
Firefighters from Ryan Township, Delano Township, and Hometown made quick work of the fire itself.
