Man arrested on felony warrant for failure to comply with sex offender registry requirements
MINERSVILLE – A Minersville man was taken into custody Wednesday evening on a felony arrest warrant issued by local police.
Michael Blanco Jr., 46, of Minersville, was charged by West Mahanoy Township Police with felony failure to comply with registration of sexual offender requirements.
Charges were filed last Wednesday against Blanco.
This Wednesday evening, he was taken into custody by Minersville Police, West Mahanoy Township Police said.
He was arraigned and committed to Schuylkill County Prison, unable to post $25,000 straight cash bail.
Township Police said he is currently out on $10,000 unsecured bail for the same charge in Montgomery County.
