Hazleton man wanted for Banks Township shooting
TRESCKOW – A Hazleton man is wanted after police say a 29-year-old woman was shot in Banks Township.
State Police at Hazleton said they were called for a shooting in the township around 4:30pm Saturday.
A 29-year-old woman had been physically assaulted and was struck by gunfire, troopers said. She was treated and released at a local hospital.
Troopers filed attempted homicide charges against Edwin Junior Vazquez, 32, who they say fled the scene.
He remains wanted and anyone who sees him should call 911 immediately.
