Parking restrictions announced for street paving next week

SHENANDOAH – As street paving progresses in Shenandoah, parking restrictions have been announced for two blocks of Oak Street due to be resurfaced.

Parking will be prohibited on West Oak Street from Catherine to Gilbert on Oct. 28, 29, and 30 from 8am to 6pm to allow for paving.

Then, Oak from Chestnut to West will have the same restrictions on Oct. 30, 31, and Nov. 1.

No Parking signs have been posted and cars will be ticketed and towed.

So far, crews have resurfaced three streets in town — Bower from Centre to Lloyd, Cherry from Main to Jardin, and Catherine from Centre to Oak.
