September Students of the Month

SHENANDOAH – Local school districts announced their students of the month for September.

Shenandoah Valley High School

The Shenandoah Valley High School named Alicia Hernandez, Shenandoah as student of the month.

She has helped the National Art Honor Society refurbish a mural at a Shenandoah day care, assisted with field day, and helped her church sell food at events. She has also helped her art teacher clean her supply closet.

At school, she is a member of the National Art Honors Society, National Honor Society, Marching Band, Concert Band, Art Club, Student Council, and Aevidum.

In her free time, Hernandez enjoys listing to music, practicing her musical instruments, drawing, painting, gardening, baking, and reading.

She plans to attend a four year college majoring in psychology and fine arts and intends to receive her Master’s Degree with the end goal of becoming an art therapist.

North Schuylkill School District

Hadley Heyer

The North Schuylkill School District announced their students of the month for the district’s schools in September.

On the high school side, Hadley Heyer (8th Grade) and Kaitlyn Werner (12th Grade) were named student of the month.

On the Elementary side, Xander Zeluskey, Liam Victor, Ayden Kramer, Taylor Reading, Ashley Torres Marte, Koa Dohner, and Gracelyn Sargeant were named students of the month.
