Geisinger Frackville physician recognized for patient satisfaction scores

FRACKVILLE – A Geisinger physician based in Frackville was among 170 honored by the health system for earning high marks from patients, the system said in a media release.
Elyssa Johnson, PA-C, Family Medicine at Geisinger Frackville, was a part of the group who the system says was recognized for ranking in the top 10 percent in patient experience nationally. The recognition was made at their Top Patient Experience Clinicians Awards Dinner.
The scores were based on Press Ganey survey results, which provide patients the opportunity to grade service and care received from a provider.
“Making health easier for our patients starts with the amazing providers who work every day to bring world-class care to the communities we serve,” said Jaewon Ryu, M.D., J.D., Geisinger president and CEO. “To receive such overwhelming feedback from our patients is the highest honor these fantastic providers could receive.”
