Outgoing Schuylkill Township supervisor recognized, thanked in final regular meeting
MARY D – Outgoing Schuylkill Township supervisor Charles Hosler was recognized and thanked by his two colleagues at Monday night’s regular meeting.
Hosler was first elected in 2010 and re-elected in 2016.
Gary Feathers, supervisors vice-chair, was first to recognize Hosler at the meeting, expressing appreciation for his dedication.
“Thank you for everything you’ve done,” Feathers said.
Fayash also extended words of appreciation.
Hosler elected to retire after two terms on the board.
Mike Boyle was elected to fill his seat and will join the board next month.
In other business, the township approved the 2024 budget with no tax increase.
They also took action to close out the escrow accounts related to the Brockton Dollar General construction and return the funds to the company.
