Zawada to remain a Golden Bear, signs with Kutztown

MAHANOY CITY – A star point guard for the Golden Bears will still be a Golden Bear next year, albeit in maroon instead of black.
Tanner Zawada signed his letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic careers at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in Berks County.
There, he will be a member of the Golden Bears basketball squad.
Zawada has been a standout player on the Mahanoy Area Golden Bears squad for the past several years, including through back-to-back District XI championships.
