Woman dies two weeks after Hazleton fire

HAZLETON – A Hazleton woman died Sunday at a Lehigh County hospital, two weeks after a house fire in the city.
Lisa Thompson, 59, of Hazleton, died from smoke inhalation Sunday, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office said in a release Monday.
She was a victim in a house fire Sept. 15 in the 600 block of Peace Street in Hazleton.
The Hazleton Fire Department and State Police at Hazleton are investigating.
