William Penn firefighters handle “unknown-type” fire

LOST CREEK #2 – A small “unknown-type” fire drew the response of William Penn firefighters to this village Sunday night.

The dispatch came around 10:00pm to the area of Raven Run Road and Lost Creek Road in the village of Lost Creek #2.

William Penn and Altamont Fire were dispatched. William Penn’s brush truck arrived on scene, finding a “small in nature” fire behind a residence on Lost Creek Road.

Altamont’s engine was cancelled en route, and William Penn’s firefighters remained on scene for about half an hour.

It was not clear what the cause of the fire was, or what was involved.
