West Mahanoy Township Police Log 3/12/18

WEST MAHANOY TOWNSHIP – Township police have released information on incidents occurring within the past month, where they have filed charges against two individuals, one from Shenandoah and another from Chester County.

2/20/18 – Bad Checks
On February 20, township police were contacted by a local establishment for reports of bad checks.

Police were notified by the establishment that Trevor Jefferson, 31, of Shenandoah, passed a bad check as payment to the establishment

As a result, Jefferson will have to answer to the misdemeanor charge at the Frackville courtroom of Magisterial District Judge Christina Hale.

3/5/18 – False Identification and Disorderly Conduct

On March 5, township police were dispatched to a disturbance at a local motel, during which a Chester County man provided police with a false name.

Police say Robert Hester, 39, of Downingtown, Chester County, provided officers with a false name and was subsequently charged with misdemeanor False Identification to Law Enforcment and summary Disorderly Conduct.

Hester will have to answer to charges at the Frackville courtroom of Magisterial District Judge Christina Hale.
