Volunteers spruce up Memorial Park in Frackville
FRACKVILLE – Several area residents spent their Sunday working to spruce up Memorial Park in the mountain city.
Those volunteers, led by Tylor Blackwell, Frackville, cleaned up litter and raked leaves in the park, along with laying mulch and woodchips in play areas.
The group also cleaned up the tennis court and planted flowers.
Blackwell and the volunteers had also given the wooden train at the park a fresh coat of paint.
Boyer’s Food Markets donated hot dogs and water for the volunteers.
