Twardzik cruises to third term in state House
HARRISBURG – State Rep. Tim Twardzik (R-123) earned his third term in the state House of Representatives Tuesday.
Twardzik, a former executive at Ateeco, Inc., makers of Mrs. T’s Pierogies, was first elected to the House in 2020.
Representing West Mahanoy Township, Ashland, Girardville, and much of central Schuylkill County, incumbent Twardzik, of Englewood, Butler Township, faced a Democratic challenger, Michael Zvalaren III.
As of 6am, Twardzik held a 2-to-1 margin over Zvalaren, 23,289 votes to 8,612 votes.
