HAZLE TOWNSHIP, Luzerne County – Around midnight Sunday, State Police at Hazleton responded to reports of a burglary at Skitco Iron Works, 1478 South Church Street, a business allegedly previously burglarized by Shawn Christy.
Troopers arrived to find that someone broke a front office window to gain access to the building, before opening a rear garage door to take a white 2002 GMC Sierra 2500HD utility truck.
The truck has Pennsylvania plates, ZJP-4486, is marked with Skitco Iron Works lettering, and is equipped with a red ladder rack and a blue welding machine in the rear.
Troopers noted that the facility was previously burglarized on September 5, which they suspect was by Shawn Christy. Christy is currently wanted by the U.S. Marshals for threats against the president and other officials.
Anyone with information is asked to call State Police at Hazleton at 570-459-3890.
