HUMBOLDT – Do you recognize this car? State troopers say two men swiped copper pipes and wire from a Humboldt plant and fled in it.
State Police at Hazleton said the theft happened around 12:30am Feb. 10 at Alphia on Park Drive.
Troopers said two men arrived in a 2007 Chevy HHR, stole multiple copper pipes and hundreds of feet in copper wire before fleeing.
The car has black roof racks and a faulty rear tailgate, troopers said.
They suspect the vehicle is from New Jersey or New York based off the front windshield sticker and a front license plate holder.
Troopers said they may have traveled via Route 61 or Interstate 81.
