Troopers release details on attempted burglary at Frackville Laundromat in March

ALTAMONT – State Police today released information on an attempted burglary at the Frackville Laundromat in Altamont last month, and they’re seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the burglar.

Troopers say, around 5:30am on March 17, a white male suspect entered the laundromat. There, he went through a locked office door, setting off an alarm, at which time he fled through the rear of the laundromat.

The man is described as a white male, wearing safety yellow work gloves, a dark color jacket with a hood, blue jeans, and black work boots. He also has light colored facial hair with a goatee-type beard.

Anyone with information is asked to contact State Police at Frackville at 570-874-5300.
