FRACKVILLE – A pair from southeastern PA are facing charges after state police say they brought a variety of drugs, a knife, and a gun to the state prison in Frackville yesterday.
Troopers were called there around 11:00am Sunday morning, when they found two visitors, 23-year-old Jasmine London from Philadelphia County, and Tykeia Pew, 33 of Montgomery County, had brought a variety of illegal items to the prison.
London, troopers said, had four small bundles of K2 synthetic marijuana, six Xanax pills in an unmarked vial, and a small vile of marijuana. Pew had a small bag of marijuana and a butterfly folding knife.
Troopers then checked the 2013 Ford C-Max rental car they brought to the prison, and found a 9mm handgun and a marijuana grinder.
The pair are facing felony contraband charges and misdemeanor drug possession.
