Tri-County Youth Football awards 2024 scholarships

The TCYFL held a recognition of the 2024 Scholarship recipients on May 21, 2024. POTTSVILLE – The Tri-County Youth Football League recently awarded its scholarships to high school seniors who started their scholastic football careers in the league.

Each year, the 16-team league awards $100 scholarships to players who played three years in the TCYFL and four years of high school ball.

The league says the winning athletes “exemplify leadership, sportsmanship, and are true team players.”

Local recipients included Alex Kozlosky of Shenandoah Valley, Colm McGroarty of Mahanoy Area, Collin McGee of Ashland, Robert Anderson, of Hazleton, and Maddox LaMas, of Mount Carmel.

The league fields 16 teams across Schuylkill, Luzerne, Northumberland, and Carbon counties.
