Three parked cars struck in McAdoo crash; charges expected
McADOO – A Drums man was seriously injured and taken to a Hazleton hospital after a crash earlier this month, State Police at Frackville said Thursday.
The crash happened on August 12 around 2am at Blaine and Lincoln Streets in the borough.
Troopers said Branden Boyer, 18, of Drums, was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Trax when he struck a parked car, pushing it into another parked car.
Boyer continued and struck a third parked car.
His vehicle, the initial parked car, and the third parked car were all disabled and towed by Steve’s Towing of Shenandoah.
Boyer and his passenger, 18-year-old James McCracken, of Sugarloaf, were taken to a Hazleton hospital for treatment of injuries.
Charges are expected against Boyer.
