SV Superintendent receiving statewide recognition

SHENANDOAH – A local leader will receive statewide recognition next month.

Shenandoah Valley School District Superintendent Brian Waite was unanimously selected for the Pennsylvania Association of Rural and Small Schools (PARSS) Advocacy Award, the district announced this week.

The honor is presented to individuals who demonstrate exceptional dedication to public education and who champion the needs of rural and small schools across the Commonwealth.

He will be recognized at the annual PARSS Awards Dinner on on April 30 in State College.
