SHENANDOAH – A Shenandoah Valley senior has done something only about three percent of SAT takers do — scored a perfect score in the math section.
Shenandoah Valley school officials congratulated Kaitlyn Karpovich for the fete recently.
According to the district, Karpovich, Shenandoah, scored a perfect 800 in the SAT’s math portion, which less than 3% of test takers accomplish.
Karpovich, the daughter of Bobbie and David Karpovich, serves as president of the SV Band, and is a member of the National Honor Society and Academic Bowl team. She plans to attend college, majoring in Astro Physics.
