ASHLAND – Food items, a bounce house, dart games, and a bleenie line that stretches across the block are among items that you’ll find at Ashland’s Summerfest, hosted by St. Charles Borromeo Church on Walnut Street.

The event began Friday, running from 5:00pm to 10:00pm outside the church at Walnut and Eleventh Streets in the borough.

RATL performed Friday, while attendees enjoyed pierogies, haluskie, bleenies, cheeseburgers, and more.

Inside the parish center, across from the church, a basket raffle and bake sale were held, and along the west side of the church were a bounce house, and various games, including a dart throw, ring toss, and mini golf.

The event continues tomorrow, Saturday July 21, from 5pm to 10pm with Spinjammers providing entertainment for the duration.
