State Police investigating reported shooting in Sheppton

SHEPPTON – State troopers were at a home in this East Union Township village well past midnight investigating a reported fatal shooting.
Police tape blocked Franklin Street between Market and Pine as investigators huddled around a home at 31 Franklin Street around 1:30am.
The State Police Forensic Services Unit was on scene as was the Schuylkill County Coroner’s Office.
