State Police investigating reported bank robbery in McAdoo

McADOO – State Police at Frackville are investigating a reported bank robbery at the First National Bank branch here.

It happened around 10:30am Thursday morning at the bank branch on North Kennedy Drive.

Troopers said a man wearing a flannel shirt, baseball hat, sunglasses, gloves, and a fake beard entered the branch and handed a note to a teller demanding money.

The man never brandished a weapon and he fled in a Toyota Camry sedan.

State Police investigators were at the bank branch into the afternoon.
