State Police investigating McAdoo shooting
McADOO – State Police at Frackville are investigating a shooting here that happened Tuesday night.
Troopers said they were called to West Third and Manning Streets around 11:30pm Tuesday for a reported shooting.
They were told that a man had been shot in the stomach after an encounter with three men, two of whom “were wearing masks and acting suspicious.”
Those three men fled on foot towards West Grant Street.
The victim, a 48-year-old man from McAdoo, was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital – Hazleton and flown to Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest in Salisbury Township, where he is listed in stable condition.
The Troop L Major Case team is investigating.
