State Police investigate hit and run in Girardville

GIRARDVILLE – State Police at Frackville are investigating a two vehicle hit and run crash in Girardville which occurred last Friday.
According to troopers, a Chrysler Town and Country was travelling eastbound on Main Street while a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado was travelling westbound around 7am when the Chrysler struck the driver’s side of the Silverado.
The Silverado, driven by Joseph Lloyd, 47, of New Ringgold, sustained minor damage after the Town and Country struck its driver’s side pickup bed and trailer. The trailer had a small dent to its front corner.
The Town and Country could not be located after the crash.
