State Police investigate apparent murder-suicide in Ashland
ASHLAND – Two men are dead after what police say was an apparent murder-suicide in Ashland.
According to the State Police at Frackville, officers were dispatched to 812 Pine Street Friday for a death investigation.
Troopers said Emerson Beacham and Daniel Dugan were found dead in the home.
The two, troopers said, were involved in an argument when Beacham shot Dugan with a shotgun, killing the man. Beacham then took his own life, troopers said.
Troopers called the incident isolated and said no danger to the public exists.
