State College man wanted on 51 charges in Columbia Co. fraud scheme
BLOOMSBURG – A State College man is wanted by police in Columbia County on 51 charges related to an alleged fraud scheme.
Chad Snyder, 42, of State College, is wanted by Bloomsburg Police.
Charges were filed earlier this month against the man who is accused of making 44 unauthorized purchases using someone else’s debit card, trying to transfer funds to himself via CashApp or to acquainances.
Of those 44 attempts, police say 21 were successful. He is also accused of taking blank checks from the victim and forging their signature.
Police filed 51 total charges, including dozens of misdemeanor access device fraud charges and three counts of felony forgery.
He is believed to be in Centre County.
