Standoff closes Market Street in Ashland

UPDATE 6:30pm – Market Street has reopened.

ASHLAND – Market Street from 11th to 15th Street here is closed for a standoff.

Local and state law enforcement, some armed with rifles, have been at the scene since around 4pm.

Several other streets in the area are also closed.

The Sentinel is on scene and will have more information when it becomes available.
