Skydiving Santa entering 17th year of Mrs. T’s sponsorship

SHENANDOAH – The current iteration of Shenandoah’s Christmas tradition is entering its 17th year in a few weeks.
Mrs. T’s Pierogies is sponsoring Skydiving Santa at Veterans Memorial Stadium Friday, Nov. 29.
Gates open at 10:30am and, pending weather conditions, Santa will parachute into the stadium around noon.
The first 200 children under the age of 12 to attend will receive a free gift.
Mrs. Claus, Frosty the Snowman, and Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer will also be in attendance, and Santa’s elves will offer face painting.
The Shenandoah Valley Band Boosters will also open their concession stand.
Following Santa’s arrival, the Shenandoah Christmas Parade will begin, leading from the football stadium to borough hall on West Washington Street.
