SKIP plans Spring Clean around county
POTTSVILLE – Schuylkill Keep It Pretty (SKIP) is planning a Spring Clean event later this month.
The organization is putting together a community-wide effort to help beautify Schuylkill County by cleaning up roadways, parks, and public spaces.
It’ll take place April 22 through May 4 and they will provide all necessary equipment to participating groups, including safety vests, gloves, trash bags, and more. They’ll also help with trash disposal.
“This event is about more than picking up litter — it’s about taking pride in our communities and working together to make Schuylkill County beautiful,” said SKIP Chairperson Mandy Fitzpatrick. “We encourage everyone to get involved in whatever way they can.”
