Sixteen Shen. Valley musicians selected for first ever North’d/Schuylkill Honors Band

SHENANDOAH – A new regional honors band has formed for the heart of coal country, and 16 Shenandoah Valley musicians will be a part of it.

The Northumberland Schuylkill Regional Honors Band will take the stage for the first time on Feb. 2 at Line Mountain High School in Mandata.

It will feature musicians from Shenandoah Valley, North Schuylkill, Mount Carmel, Shamokin, and Line Mountain.

Performing from Shenandoah Valley are Angelique Zamudio Carmen, Luz Rodriguez Ramos, Leslie Paniagua, Alyazari Paniagua, Josephine Kropp, Toby Gudinas, Valeria Hernandez, Mareli Arias, Jesus Paniagua Perez, Victoria Hernandez, Amber Lauffer, George Lopez Vasquez, Daniel Paniagua Perez, Gordon Slater, Gavin Gudinas, and Cesar Estrada Zamudio.

The concert will be held Feb. 2 at 7pm at Line Mountain, 187 Line Mt. Road, Mandata, and will be conduced by Dr. William Kenny of Bucknell University.
