Shenandoah zoners to consider requests for daycare, hookah bar
SHENANDOAH – The Shenandoah Zoning Hearing Board and the borough Planning Commission will hear requests for two businesses next Thursday.
A hearing is set for Thursday at 4pm at borough hall.
Rafael Blanco and Edwin Peralta are requesting the addition of “an additional component of a business” to allow their bar, 5 Star Bar at Centre and Vine Street, to use hookahs.
The bar is owned by OMSAI-COM, LLC, and is the former R&J And Friends bar.
Following that hearing, the zoning board will hear Stephany Ventura’s request to open a daycare in a row home at 409 South Main Street.
The hearing is for a change of use from residential to commercial.
