SHENANDOAH – A Shenandoah Valley grad and two-time champion will be back behind the wheel of a monster truck this weekend.

John Seasock, a 1983 Shenandoah Valley graduate, will pilot Muddy Girl as the Monster X Tour visits Toledo Speedway in Toledo, Ohio.

A two-time Monster Jam racing champion, it’s Seasock’s first time in a monster truck in competition since 2015.

The event is set for June 14.

John’s son, Kyle ‘Bucket’ Seasock, will also compete, driving Backdraft.

The elder Seasock had a more-than two decade career driving monster trucks, owning and operating Sudden Impact for many years. He won his two titles behind the wheel of Batman.

In 2023, he donated much of his championship memorabilia to the International Monster Truck Museum and Hall of Fame in Butler, Indiana.
