SHENANDOAH – The Shenandoah Quarterback Club had a check presentation at halftime during Friday’s game against Williams Valley after a fundraiser to help a local girl’s battle with leukemia.
The club, which is a booster club for the Shenandoah Valley football program, sold shirts ahead of the game, which showed an orange ribbon for leukemia awareness.
All proceeds go to support a girl who is battling the disease. She was unable to be at Friday’s game due to the rainy weather.
