Shenandoah Police release photo of alleged M&T Bank robber

PHOTO COURTESY / SHENANDOAH POLICE - Shenandoah Police are seeking the public's assistance identifying this man who allegedly robbed M&T Bank Monday morning.

SHENANDOAH – Shenandoah Police are seeking the public’s assistance identifying a man who allegedly robbed the M&T Bank branch in downtown Shenandoah this morning.

The robbery  occurred shortly before 11:00am today at the bank on the southwest corner of Main and Centre Streets.

​Shenandoah Police released a photo of the alleged robber just after 3:00pm today, a white male with dark hair, facial hair, wearing a yellow cap.

Borough police ask anyone who recognizes the man to call 570-462-1991.

Police officers from across northern Schuylkill were assisting Shenandoah Police at the scene around noon Monday.

No further information was reported, and a call to the Shenandoah police station was unanswered.
