Shenandoah, North Schuylkill middle schoolers represent area in PMEA Intermediate Band
BETHLEHEM – Four area middle schoolers were in the Lehigh Valley Friday, taking part in the 2025 PMEA District 10 Intermediate Band and Orchestra Festival at Lehigh University.
Colin Neidlinger on trumpet and Ellie Miscannon on flute represented Shenandoah Valley, while Ella Stump on trumpet at Hadley Heyer on trombone represented North Schuylkill.
The festival was held at the Zoellner Arts Center at Lehigh University in Bethlehem Friday.
Dr. JoAnn Wieszczyk, director of instrumental music at Moravian University, served as guest conductor.
The festival consisted of 7th and 8th grade musicians from Schuylkill, Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Northampton, Monroe, and Pike counties.
