Shenandoah Manor, Hometown Nursing close to visitors
SHENANDOAH – Two nursing homes in our area are closed to visitors as a precautionary measure relating to the coronavirus.
Effective yesterday, the Shenandoah Senior Living Community on East Washington Street, commonly known as the Shenandoah Manor, and the Hometown Nursing and Rehabiliation Center in Hometown, are closed to visitors.
Additionally, all staff, transport team members, and new residents will have their temperature taken before they’re allowed to enter the building, according to flyers distributed by both facilities. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or above will not be allowed in either facility.
“Kindly remember that you may call and use our portable telephone to communicate with your loved one, or you may Skype using your own telephones,” the two letters read.
