SHENANDOAH – Shenandoah’s district court has reopened after a two-month closure.
The office of Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker at Main and Oak Streets in the borough had been closed since March.
Crews had been working to clean up after a water break at the courtroom and all hearings were moved to the Schuylkill County Courthouse in Pottsville.
Last week, staffers returned to the Shenandoah courtroom and hearings were moved back to town.
The office is the district courtroom for Shenandoah, Mahanoy City, Mahanoy Township, East Union Township, and the northern half of West Mahanoy Township.
