Shen. Valley names January, February students of the month

SHENANDOAH – Shenandoah Valley announced their January and February students of the month.
Katrina McNulty was named January Student of the Month.
In the community, she has been involved in painting a mural at Villa Daycare, helping with last year’s senior mural, and concession stands for basketball and little league baseball.
She’s a member of the softball and volleyball teams, the cheerleading squad, and art club.
Her personal interests are primarily sports, as she has been involved in athletics since she was four.
She plans to become a pediatric nurse.
Leslie Paniagua is the February student of the month.
In the community, she has been involved in the Schuylkill Technology Center Santa Workshop, has volunteered with a blood drive, among others.
She is a section leader in the band and has participated in concert band, Schuylkill County Band, Northumberland/Schuylkill Honors Band, and is in the Tri M Music Honor Society.
She is also a cheer captain and member of the soccer and cross country teams. She represented Shenandoah and Schuylkill County in the DECA state competition and Skills USA and has been STC’s Student of the Month and Student of the Semester.
She says she likes to spend time with her family and “look on the brighter side of things and not let negativity get the best of me.”
She plans to attend Shippensburg University and major in marketing.
