SHENANDOAH – The Lady Devils earned their first victory of the season Friday evening in sound fashion, defeating MMI Preparatory 57-20.
Shenandoah Valley took control of the game early, and never let up, holding the Preppers to only 10 points at the half.
The Freeland-based MMI team reported only seven on their roster for the game, and were seeking their first win in the season in their second game. Their first matchup was a 53-12 loss to Weatherly.
For Shenandoah Valley, Victoria Donovan opened scoring for the game, and would end the game as the scoring leader with 17 points. Abby Conroy scored 11 and Alyssa Buchanan 10 as well.
Shenandoah’s next game will be home, next Thursday, December 20, as they host Nativity BVM.
