Shen. Valley considering 3.2 mill tax increase

SHENANDOAH – The Shenandoah Valley School District is expected to vote on a tentative budget with the first tax increase since the 2016-17 school year.
School directors will vote on the tentative 2025-26 budget Wednesday night at 6:30pm at the high school.
The $29,162,783 budget increases taxes to 60.175 mills, an increase of 3.2 mills and the first tax hike since 2016-17.
Other taxes levied, including real estate, earned income, per capita, and fly ash processing taxes will all stay level.
