SFD helps teach SV students fire safety, prevention

SHENANDOAH – This week is National Fire Prevention Week, and the Shenandoah Fire Department gave students an up close look at their equipment and some lessons in fire safety.

Firefighters brought their trucks down to the Shenandoah Valley School District campus for the students to see.

The students were also taught valuable lessons in fire safety and what to do in case of a fire.
